The Current Operation Utilized An Overhead Crane Which Limited The Access To The Ovens. The Overhead Cranes Could Not Reach Into The Ovens, So A Transfer Car Was Used To Go In And Out Of The Ovens With The Parts.

Benefit Of Using The Machine Load/unload Stacker
The Rapistak Machine Load/unload Stacker Was Designed To Endure 1700 Degree Oven Temperatures On A Regular Basis. The Stacker Was Designed To Reach Into The Oven To Grab The Bearing Rings And Transfer Them To A Quenching Table Within A Short Time Frame Which Is Critical To Maintaining A Quality Hardening Process.

Since The Stacker Crane Is Reaching Into The Oven And Grabbing The Bearings From The Side, Unlike The Overhead Crane Which Picked From The Top Of The Bearing, The Customer Could Now Place Multiple Bearings In The Oven Stacked On Top Of One Another Drastically Improving Throughput And Production.
